Mining
Mining GEODE means buying GEODE through the Uniswap v4 pool. The Slinq mining hook sits on top of that pool and tracks every WETH→GEODE buy as a contribution to the current round. At the end of the hour, your share of that round’s emission is yours to claim — whenever you want. The loop
1
Buy GEODE with WETH
Use the swap interface on the Geode site (or any router that routes through the v4 pool with the hook attached). The minimum buy that earns mining capacity is 0.01 WETH — anything smaller still goes through, but won’t accrue capacity for the round.
2
Capacity accrues to the current round
The hook records your WETH spend as capacity in the round currently open. Multiple buys in the same hour stack into one position. Sells and LP adds earn nothing — mining is buyer-only.
3
The round closes (lazy, on the next swap)
Rounds are exactly 1 hour. There are no keepers — the next swap or claim that lands after the hour is up advances the clock and freezes the previous round’s totals.
4
Claim your reward
Call
claim(round) (or claimMany(rounds[]) for up to 50 at once). The hook mints your share directly to your wallet: your_capacity / total_round_capacity × round_emission. You pay the gas to claim. How the math works
Each round mints a fixed slice of the mining allocation:round_emission. That’s it — no multipliers, no boost tiers, no team allocation skimming the top.
Things to know
- Skipped rounds don’t carry over. If a round has zero buyers, that round’s emission is never minted. The cap stays at 720k forever.
- Unclaimed rewards stay unminted until you claim them. Total supply only moves when a real claim happens.
- No double-claim. A claimed bit is packed into your per-round slot. Replays are rejected.
- claimMany is strict. If any round in the batch is invalid, unfinalized, empty, or already claimed, the whole call reverts. Pass clean inputs.
- Smart-wallet users: if your transaction can’t pass

What earns capacity, what doesn’t
The rule of thumb: only the buyer who pushed the price up earned the round. Everything else either pays the fee or sits idle.
