Common terms you’ll encounter when using Slinq.

A

AMM (Automated Market Maker) A decentralized exchange mechanism that uses liquidity pools instead of order books. PancakeSwap is an AMM.

B

BEP-20 The token standard on BNB Chain (similar to ERC-20 on Ethereum). BNB Chain Slinq tokens are BEP-20. BNB Chain One of Slinq’s supported networks. Formerly known as Binance Smart Chain (BSC). BNB Chain Slinq launches trade through PancakeSwap.

C

Cast A post on Farcaster (similar to a tweet). You can create tokens by casting at @slinq. Concentrated Liquidity A liquidity provision method where funds are focused in specific price ranges. PancakeSwap V4 uses this for better capital efficiency. Creator The account or wallet assigned as the token creator. Creators earn chain-specific creator revenue. Clanker Wrapper Slinq’s Ethereum launch rail. It uses Slinq’s wrapper around Clanker’s SDK and contracts so Slinq tokens can launch through the Clanker-compatible Ethereum flow.

D

DEX (Decentralized Exchange) An exchange that operates without a central authority. PancakeSwap is a DEX. Ethereum One of Slinq’s supported networks. Ethereum launches use Slinq’s Clanker wrapper and trade in ETH/WETH terms.

F

FDV (Fully Diluted Valuation) The total market cap if all tokens were in circulation. Calculated as: Token Price × Total Supply. Fee Beneficiary The wallet that receives a share of trading fees. Usually the token creator (40%), but when someone else triggers the launch, the split becomes 35% creator + 5% first buyer. Creators can route their rewards to any third-party wallet — for example, to a charity, a GitHub contributor, or any address supporting the ecosystem. Fee Locker The smart contract that holds accumulated creator fees until claimed. First Buyer The person who executes the on-chain launch transaction for a token. In social tokenization, the first buyer earns a 5% share of trading fees as a reward.

G

Gas The fee paid to process transactions. Paid in ETH on Ethereum and BNB on BNB Chain.

Holder A wallet that owns tokens. Holder count is displayed on each token page. Hook A PancakeSwap V4 smart contract plugin that runs automatically on BNB Chain Infinity trades. Slinq’s hook handles dynamic fee calculation, MEV protection, and creator fee distribution for that launch rail.

L

Liquidity The availability of tokens for trading. More liquidity = better prices and lower slippage. LP (Liquidity Pool) A pool of tokens locked in a smart contract that enables trading. Slinq tokens pair with WETH on Ethereum or WBNB on BNB Chain. LP Lock When liquidity is permanently deposited and cannot be withdrawn. All Slinq tokens have locked LP.

M

Market Cap The total value of all tokens in circulation. For Slinq tokens: Token Price × Circulating Supply. MEV (Maximal Extractable Value) Profit extracted by reordering, inserting, or censoring transactions. Slinq’s MEV protection reduces this exploitation. Memecoin A cryptocurrency created primarily for entertainment or community, often based on memes or internet culture.

PancakeSwap The largest DEX on BNB Chain. BNB Chain Slinq tokens trade on PancakeSwap Infinity or V3. Points Season Pass points earned through trading, creating, and referrals. Price Impact How much a trade moves the market price. Larger trades have bigger impact.

R

Referral When you invite someone to Slinq using your code. Referrers earn 25% of their referees’ points. Rug Pull When a project’s creators withdraw liquidity, making the token worthless. Slinq prevents this with locked LP.

S

Season A competitive period for the Season Pass. Points reset when a new season begins. Slippage The difference between expected and actual trade prices. Caused by price movement between quote and execution. Smart Contract Self-executing code on the blockchain. Slinq’s contracts handle token creation, trading, and fee distribution. Social Feed A dedicated page on Slinq showing tokens created through social tokenization (reply-based launches from Twitter and Farcaster). Social Tokenization The process of turning a social media post into a tradeable token by replying with a keyword like “tokenize this”. The original author becomes the creator.

T

Ticker/Symbol The short identifier for a token (e.g., $MOON,$DEGEN). Limited to 1-10 characters. Token A digital asset on the blockchain. Slinq creates ERC-20 tokens on Ethereum and BEP-20 tokens on BNB Chain.

V

Volume The total value of tokens traded over a period. Usually measured in ETH, BNB, or USD.

​

W

Wallet Software that stores your private keys and lets you interact with the blockchain. Examples: MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet. WBNB (Wrapped BNB) An ERC-20 compatible version of BNB. Used in DeFi protocols. 1 WBNB = 1 BNB always. WETH (Wrapped ETH) An ERC-20 compatible version of ETH. Used in DeFi protocols. 1 WETH = 1 ETH.
